After graduating from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2002 where he was a Scholar Merit Award Recipient, Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and the Chief Justice of the Cumberland Honor Court, Robert Tidwell spent more than 7 years as an insurance attorney with much of that time working as trial counsel for two of the largest insurance companies in the United States. Having worked from the other side of the courtroom, he gained invaluable firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies evaluate personal injury claims and the strategies they use to build their defenses. As a plaintiff’s trial attorney, this insider’s view gives him incredible insight and experience, which he diligently puts to work for his clients.
Very few personal injury attorneys in Georgia have had as much jury trial experience as Robert Tidwell. In fact, he has had such great success in the courtroom, even with some of the most challenging cases, that many other personal injury attorneys and trial attorneys in Atlanta and across the nation seek him out regularly for his expertise.
Additionally, Tidwell believes that good communication between attorney and client is imperative to the success of a case and the client’s level of comfort, and he works hand-in-hand with clients to make sure they ask the right questions, have a good understanding of the process, and generally take care of what is needed for the betterment of their health and their overall situation.
Robert Tidwell, his wife and their two daughters are residents of Woodstock, Georgia. He is also a former member of the US Army and an active member of Piedmont Church in Marietta.
