Recovery Amount: $825,000
We had the privilege of representing an amazing lady who suffered a broken arm and a lisfranc ligament injury in her foot as a result of a car wreck that occurred when the at-fault driver turned left in front of our client. Our client was driving the posted speed limit of 45 miles per hour when the wreck occurred. Her injuries required 5 surgical procedures, including a plate and 6 screws to set her broken arm, and a screw to set the injured ligament in her foot. In total, our client incurred approximately $170,000.00 in medical expenses. Prior to filing suit, the liability insurance company offered only $400,000.00 to settle the case. Feeling that the settlement offer was too low, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of our client in Hall County State Court. After nearly a year of litigation, we resolved the case with the liability insurance company for $825,000.00.
