Recovery Amount: $120,000
We represented a seventy-seven-year-old woman who was attacked by a German Shepherd as she was walking in her neighborhood. Our client suffered bite wounds to the arm and leg. Initially, the dog owner’s insurance company claimed that they could not be held liable for this attack since they had no notice that the German Shephard was aggressive. We conducted our own investigation into the matter and discovered evidence that the dog had in fact demonstrated aggression towards innocent people in the past. After lengthy negotiations with the Insurance Company for the owner of the dog, the case settled for $120,000.00.
