Join us in congratulating Miss Carla Colon, the recipient of the inaugural Tidwell Strimban Scholarship! The Tidwell Strimban Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Woodstock High School who demonstrates an ability to overcome obstacles in life while maintaining academic excellence. Miss Colon moved to Woodstock from Puerto Rico with her mother and sister. The move was necessitated due to her mother’s cancer treatment. We are excited to note that her mother is in remission and Carla will be attending Life University in the fall where she will compete on the swim team. [...]
