Hey everybody! School is back in session, and that means that there are a lot of 16-year-old kids driving themselves to and from school for the first time. Without a doubt, many of these kids are going to be running late. I know I lived this for six straight years as both of my children drove themselves to and from school. One of the things that I would share with them is that if you want to stop and get coffee on the way, if you want to pick up a friend on the way to school, or if you want to have some time in the parking lot with your friends before classes start, please give yourself enough time to make those things happen. But in the event that you don’t give yourself enough time, I can live with you being tardy a lot more than I can live with you being hurt. So let’s hope that all of our kids can get to school safely. And here at Tidwell Strimban, we are wishing you and yours a great first week of school.
