The House of Frames Part 2

So the jury trial for the House of Frames case was held in DeKalb County, Georgia. And the trial took about four days for us to present to the jury. Now, the insurance company for the carpet padding business, they didn’t want to offer any money to settle the claim. I believe the highest offer they had made before the trial was about $30,000. They didn’t believe that the inventory was worth what it was actually worth. They didn’t believe that the business was worth what it was actually worth. And after spending four days presenting the evidence with the jury, they agreed with us, and they awarded our clients $650,000 to compensate them for the inventory that was destroyed by the nuisance that was created by the carpet padding company.
