Our client was a 60-year-old lady who worked for the Paulding County School System. She was injured in a motor vehicle collision involving a work truck hauling a trailer filled with landscaping equipment. Our client ended up needing shoulder surgery and neck surgery as a result of the collision. Because our client was like most people her age, meaning she had some arthritis in her neck and shoulder before this collision, the insurance companies were not willing to negotiate a fair settlement. We reached out to our client’s surgeons and we received statements from them indicating their professional opinion that the surgeries were necessary due to the wreck. The insurance companies paid their policy limits shortly thereafter.
